The District of Columbia Application For Leave To Appeal From The Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board is a process used by individuals in the District of Columbia to appeal a decision made by the Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board. This application allows individuals to request an appeal of a traffic ticket, driver’s license suspension, or other traffic-related offense. There are two types of applications: 1) Leave to Appeal from the Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board; and 2) Leave to Appeal from an Administrative Law Judge. The Leave to Appeal from the Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board is a request for permission to appeal the decision of the Board to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. The Leave to Appeal from an Administrative Law Judge is a request for permission to appeal the decision of an Administrative Law Judge to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Both applications require the submission of relevant documentation such as the original order or decision from the Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board or the Administrative Law Judge, along with an explanation of why the individual believes the decision should be overturned.
