The District of Columbia Statement of Abandonment of A Plan of Domestication of Domestic & Foreign Filing Entity is a form used to dissolve or abandon a plan of domestication of a domestic or foreign filing entity. It is a document filed with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA) to inform the DORA that the entity has decided to abandon the plan of domestication. The statement must be signed by an officer of the entity and include the name and address of the registered agent. There are two types of District of Columbia Statement of Abandonment of A Plan of Domestication of Domestic & Foreign Filing Entity: one for domestic entities and one for foreign entities. The statement for domestic entities must include the name and address of the entity, the District of Columbia registration number, the name and address of the registered agent, and the signature of an officer of the entity. The statement for foreign entities must include the name and address of the entity, the District of Columbia registration number, the name and address of the registered agent, a statement that the entity is a foreign filing entity, and the signature of an officer of the entity.
