District of Columbia Articles of Incorporation of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation are the documents that must be filed with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA) to legally form a nonprofit corporation in the District of Columbia. There are three types of District of Columbia Articles of Incorporation of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation: Articles of Incorporation of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation, Restated Articles of Incorporation of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation, and Amendment to Articles of Incorporation of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation. The Articles of Incorporation must include the name of the nonprofit corporation, its purpose, its address, the name and address of its registered agent, and the names and addresses of its incorporates. The Restated Articles of Incorporation must include the name of the nonprofit corporation, the date of its original incorporation, the name of the registered agent, and the name and address of its registered office. The Amendment to Articles of Incorporation must include the name of the nonprofit corporation, the amendment being made, the date of the amendment, and the name and address of the registered agent. Each type of document must be filed with the DORA along with the required filing fee.
