The Delaware Application for Re-Reservation of Limited Liability Partnership Name is a form used by a limited liability partnership (LLP) to apply for a new name when their current name is no longer available. This application is valid in Delaware only and must be filed with the Delaware Secretary of State. The form allows a LLP to reserve a name for a period of 120 days to ensure that another company does not reserve the same name during that time. The application comprises three parts: Part A, which includes the LLP's name and address; Part B, which is the name selection; and Part C, which is the signature page. There are two types of Delaware Application for Re-Reservation of Limited Liability Partnership Name: the standard application and the expedited application. The standard application requires the LLP to submit the filled-out form along with a $50 fee. The expedited application requires the LLP to submit the filled-out form along with a $100 fee and an additional $25 for expedited processing. Both applications take approximately three business days for processing.
