A Florida Certificate of Service (Certificate of Compliance with Local Rule 9073-1(D)) is a legal document that must be filed with the court. It certifies that the party filing the document has served all the parties involved in the case with the petition or motion and any other documents required by the court. The Certificate of Service must be filed with the court within 10 days of the service of the documents. There are three types of Florida Certificate of Service (Certificate of Compliance with Local Rule 9073-1(D)) (Sample and Form): 1) Notice of Service; 2) Certificate of Electronic Service; and 3) Certificate of Service for Mailing. The Notice of Service is used when the documents are served in person, while the Certificate of Electronic Service is for documents sent electronically, and the Certificate of Service for Mailing is for documents sent by mail. All three types of Certificate of Service must contain the necessary information, such as the names of the parties involved in the case, the date of service, and the method of service.
