The Florida Notice of Confidential Information Within Court Filing (“Notice”) is a document used to protect sensitive information from public disclosure when filing a document with a court in Florida. It is designed to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to confidential information, including personal information, financial records, and medical records. The Notice serves as a warning to parties to a court filing that confidential information is present and must be handled appropriately. There are two types of Florida Notice of Confidential Information Within Court Filing: 1. Notice of Confidential Information in Court Filing — This Notice is used when confidential information is included in the court filing. It requires the party filing the document to include a statement indicating that confidential information is included in the document and must not be disclosed to the public. 2. Notice of Confidential Information Outside of Court Filing — This Notice is used when confidential information is not included in the court filing, but is still covered under the court’s rules. It requires the party to include a statement indicating that confidential information is present and must not be disclosed to the public. In either case, the Notice must be signed by the party filing the document and must be made part of the court record. The Notice must also include a description of the confidential information and the manner in which it must be handled. Additionally, the Notice must be served on all parties to the court filing, who must also sign the Notice.
