For instance, a Financial Affidavit is used to establish financial information, such as income, assets, and liabilities. A Small Estate Affidavit is used to settle a deceased person's estate if the value of the assets is below a certain threshold. An Affidavit of Warship is used to establish the heirs of an estate. An Affidavit of Domicile is used to establish an individual's place of residence. And an Affidavit of Support is used to provide evidence of financial support for a non-citizen who is applying for a visa to enter the United States.
