This is an official Hawaii court form for use in a garnishment case, a Garnishee Information Regarding Garnishee Summons. USLF amends and updates these forms as is required by Hawaii Statutes and Law.
Hawaii Garnishee Information Regarding Garnishee Summons is a legal document issued by a court that orders a third party (a “Garnishee”) to make payments to a creditor from the wages or other property of a debtor. In Hawaii, the Garnishee Summons must be personally served on the Garnishee with a completed Garnishee Information Sheet. The Garnishee Information Sheet must include information about the debtor and creditor, the amount to be paid, and the Garnishee’s rights and obligations. There are three types of Garnishee Summons in Hawaii: Wage Garnishment Summons, Bank Garnishment Summons, and Property Garnishment Summons. A Wage Garnishment Summons requires the Garnishee to pay the creditor from the debtor’s wages or salary. A Bank Garnishment Summons requires the Garnishee to pay the creditor from the debtor’s bank accounts. And a Property Garnishment Summons requires the Garnishee to pay the creditor from the debtor’s other property, such as stocks, bonds, or real estate.Hawaii Garnishee Information Regarding Garnishee Summons is a legal document issued by a court that orders a third party (a “Garnishee”) to make payments to a creditor from the wages or other property of a debtor.
