Hawaii Circuit & Family Court Request to Access Court Records is a request form used to access court records. It is an official request to the court for a copy of court records, such as transcripts, orders, dockets, case files, motions, and/or exhibits. It is available in two types: (1) Request to Access Court Records for Circuit Court Records, and (2) Request to Access Court Records for Family Court Records. The request form must be filed in the appropriate court to obtain the requested records. The form must be filled out completely and accurately, with all required information, including the name of the person making the request, the case number (if known), the specific records being requested, and any other pertinent information. The form must be signed by the person making the request. Depending on the court, there may be filing fees associated with the request. Once the request is submitted, the court will review it and decide whether to grant or deny access to the records.
