Hawaii Interrogatories to Plaintiff (Commonly 508 Certified, 07/11) are a set of written questions from one party to another in a civil case that must be answered under oath. This set of interrogatories is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The interrogatories are designed to help the parties obtain information about the case and to help the plaintiff answer questions about their personal experiences, facts, and opinions relevant to the action. There are three main types of interrogatories to plaintiff: general interrogatories, special interrogatories, and requests for production of documents. General interrogatories are broad questions that can cover a variety of topics related to the case. Special interrogatories are more specific questions that are tailored to the facts of the case. Requests for production of documents are requests for any documents that could be relevant to the case.
