Application for Use of Judiciary Facilities
The Hawaii Application for Use of Judiciary Facilities is an official form used by qualified entities to request the use of any judiciary facility in the state of Hawaii. This includes all courtrooms, meeting rooms, chambers, and other facilities located in any of the courthouses throughout the state. The application form must be completed in full and signed by an authorized representative of the requesting entity. It must include the following: the purpose of the request, the date and time requested, the number of people attending, the type of facility required, and any other relevant information. There are two types of Hawaii Application for Use of Judiciary Facilities: one for regular use and one for special events. The regular use application is used when a qualified entity requests the use of a judiciary facility for activities or meetings that are not of a special nature. This includes, but is not limited to, attorney meetings, hearings, medications, and pre-trial conferences. The special event application is used when a qualified entity requests the use of a judiciary facility for a special event or activity. This includes, but is not limited to, weddings, religious ceremonies, award ceremonies, fundraisers, and educational events. Upon submission of the application, it will be reviewed by judiciary staff and a determination will be made whether the request is granted. The applicant will then be notified of the decision.
