Hawaii Certificate of Service is an official document issued by the state of Hawaii that serves as proof that a person has served in the Hawaii National Guard or the Hawaii Air National Guard. It is also used to establish proof of service for veterans and active duty service members. The Hawaii Certificate of Service is issued to members of the Hawaii National Guard or the Hawaii Air National Guard who have served in the armed forces for at least six years and have been honorably discharged or released from active duty. It can also be issued to members of the Hawaii National Guard or the Hawaii Air National Guard who have completed a minimum of five years of active service but have not yet been discharged or released from active duty. There are two types of Hawaii Certificate of Service: the Hawaii National Guard Service Certificate and the Hawaii Air National Guard Service Certificate. The Hawaii National Guard Service Certificate is issued to members of the Hawaii National Guard who have served for at least six years and have been honorably discharged or released from active duty.
