Hawaii Motion (Hearing) is a type of hearing in the state of Hawaii where a judge or a magistrate can hear and decide a case after considering the evidence and arguments presented. The purpose of a Hawaii Motion (Hearing) is to determine whether a party has a legal right to relief from a court order. There are two types of Hawaii Motion (Hearing): Motion for Summary Judgment and Motion for Reconsideration. A Motion for Summary Judgment is a request for a ruling in a case without a full trial. A Motion for Reconsideration is a request for the court to reconsider its prior decision. In both cases, the court will hear the arguments from both parties before making a decision.
