The Hawaii Completed Hourly Worksheet; Indigent Representation is a worksheet used to record the time and expenses of an attorney providing legal representation to indigent clients. This worksheet is used to document the hours worked on a case and the expenses incurred for the representation of an indigent client. It is required by the Hawaii Supreme Court in order to accurately track the hours worked and expenses of attorneys providing legal services to indigent clients. The worksheet also requires attorneys to provide a detailed description of the services provided and the outcome of the case. There are two types of Hawaii Completed Hourly Worksheet; Indigent Representation: 1) Private Attorney Involvement (PAY) and 2) Pro Bono Representation. PAY is a program established by the Hawaii Supreme Court that provides legal representation to indigent clients by private attorneys. Pro Bono Representation is provided by volunteer attorneys who provide free legal services to indigent clients.
