The Idaho Application For In Form Paupers Status (Prisoner) is a form used by the Idaho Court to determine if an incarcerated individual qualifies for a reduced fee or waiver of a filing fee. It is used to determine if a person meets the financial criteria to be granted an in form paupers status which allows the individual to pursue litigation without paying the associated court fees. There are two types of Idaho Applications For In Form Paupers Status (Prisoner): (1) the Original Application and (2) the Renewal Application. The Original Application is used to determine the initial status of in form paupers, and the Renewal Application is used to renew the status when it has expired. The application must be completed and signed in the presence of the prison's law library staff. The original or renewal application must be accompanied by a financial statement that provides information about the individual's income, assets, and expenses. The court will review the application and make a determination as to the status of the individual.
