The Idaho Foreign Registration Statement is a document required by the Idaho Secretary of State for foreign entities who wish to transact business in the state of Idaho. This statement serves as notice to the Idaho Secretary of State that a foreign entity is operating in the state and is subject to Idaho law. The statement must be filed before a foreign entity can conduct business in Idaho. There are two types of Idaho Foreign Registration Statements: an Initial Registration Statement and an Annual Renewal Statement. The Initial Registration Statement must be completed with the required information such as the name of the foreign entity, its state or country of incorporation, the name and address of its registered agent in Idaho, the address of its principal office, and the name and address of the responsible party in Idaho. The Annual Renewal Statement must be filed each year and must include the current name and address of the foreign entity and its registered agent in Idaho.
