Idaho Sexual Assault Examination Reimbursement Spanish Version is a service provided by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare that helps pay for medical costs associated with sexual assault examinations. This program helps cover the cost of a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) examination, which involves a comprehensive medical evaluation and evidence collection to document physical findings related to the assault. The program can also provide reimbursement for additional costs, including laboratory exams, medications, and medical follow-up exams. There are two types of Idaho Sexual Assault Examination Reimbursement Spanish Version: the Medical Expense Reimbursement Program and the Victim Reimbursement Program. The Medical Expense Reimbursement Program covers the cost of the SANE examination, as well as any other necessary medical services related to the examination. The Victim Reimbursement Program provides reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the victim, such as transportation or hotel costs. Both programs are available in Spanish to help support Spanish-speaking survivors of sexual assault.
