The Illinois Order of Discharge is a document released by the court system in the state of Illinois that declares the end of an individual's sentence. It is issued by the Circuit Court Clerk to an individual who has completed a court-ordered sentence. It may include probation, parole, conditional discharge, or a criminal court order. The Order of Discharge may also be issued to people who have successfully completed a diversion program. There are three types of Illinois Order of Discharge: a Conditional Discharge, a Discharge on Probation, and a Discharge without Probation or Sentence. A Conditional Discharge is an order from the court which releases an offender from his or her sentence while placing certain conditions on the individual. A Discharge on Probation is an order releasing an offender from his or her sentence while imposing certain conditions under the supervision of a probation officer. A Discharge without Probation or Sentence is an order from the court which releases an offender from his or her sentence without imposing any additional conditions.
