Illinois Stalking No Contact Summons is a legal document issued by the court to an alleged offender in a stalking case. It orders that the accused person must not have any contact with the victim, including but not limited to: direct, indirect, or third-party contact; communications; or surveillance. There are two types of Illinois Stalking No Contact Summons: a Civil No Contact Order, and a Criminal No Contact Order. A Civil No Contact Order is issued in a civil case when the victim has obtained a Stalking No Contact Order from the court. This type of Order prohibits the accused from having any contact with the victim, including any unwanted communication or physical contact. A Criminal No Contact Order is issued in a criminal case when the defendant has been formally charged with stalking. This Order requires the accused to stay away from the victim and refrain from any contact, including any communication, surveillance, or physical contact.
