Illinois Order and Certification of an Appeal (Adoption) is a court order issued by the Illinois Supreme Court that allows the adoption of a child or children to be appealed to the Supreme Court. There are two types of Illinois Order and Certification of an Appeal (Adoption): a direct appeal and a discretionary appeal. A direct appeal is an appeal that is automatically granted by the court and the case is then heard in the Supreme Court. This type of appeal is used when the adoption has been denied by a lower court. A discretionary appeal is a type of appeal that is granted at the discretion of the court. This type of appeal is used when the adoption has been approved by the lower court but one of the parties disagrees with the decision. The court will then review the case and determine if the appeal should be granted or denied. In both cases, the Illinois Order and Certification of an Appeal (Adoption) must be filed with the Supreme Court within 30 days from the date of the lower court's decision. The Order and Certification must include all relevant information about the case, including the names of the parties, the court order granting or denying the adoption, and any other relevant evidence. The Order and Certification must also include a certification from the court that the appeal is in good faith and is not being filed for frivolous reasons.
