An Illinois Order Granting Probation Officer Leave To Withdraw is a court order issued by a judge of the Circuit Court of Illinois. It gives a probation officer permission to withdraw from a case before it reaches a final judgment. This type of order is often sought when the probation officer finds that the defendant is not in compliance with the terms of probation, or when the probation officer believes the defendant is no longer a good candidate for probation. There are two types of Illinois Order Granting Probation Officer Leave To Withdraw: (1) an order granting probation officer leave to withdraw; and (2) an order denying probation officer leave to withdraw. The order granting probation officer leave to withdraw grants the probation officer permission to withdraw from the case and the order denying probation officer leave to withdraw denies the probation officer leave to withdraw from the case.
