An Illinois Notice of Intent to Sell (Urbana) is a document required by the state of Illinois that must be filed with the Urbana City Clerk's Office before a property can be sold or transferred. The Notice must include the name and address of the seller, the address of the property being sold, the purchase price, the date of the transfer, and the name of the buyer. The Notice must also be signed by both the buyer and the seller. There are two types of Illinois Notice of Intent to Sell (Urbana): a residential property Notice and a non-residential property Notice. The residential property Notice must be filed for all residential properties such as single family homes, condos, and town homes. The non-residential property Notice must be filed for all non-residential properties such as commercial buildings, warehouses, and industrial properties.
