Illinois Getting Started Request & Order for an Interpreter is an online form offered by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDs). This form is used to request an interpreter for individuals who need assistance communicating with IDs staff. The Request & Order for an Interpreter allows an individual to provide information about the language they need an interpreter for, the type of interpreter they need, and the time and date when they need the interpreter. The Illinois Getting Started Request & Order for an Interpreter includes two different types of forms: • Type — – This form is for individuals who need a certified interpreter for an appointment or interview and have already completed the Illinois Getting Started form. • Type — – This form is for individuals who need a certified interpreter for an appointment or interview and have not yet completed the Illinois Getting Started form.
