Illinois Order Denying Request to Expunge & Impound and/or Seal Criminal Records is a court order issued by an Illinois court denying a petitioner's request to have all or part of their criminal records expunged, impounded, and/or sealed. This order is issued when a petitioner applies for a Certificate of Eligibility to have their records expunged, impounded, and/or sealed, but the court determines that they are not eligible. There are two types of Illinois Order Denying Request to Expunge & Impound and/or Seal Criminal Records: 1) Order Denying Request to Expunge, Impound, and/or Seal Criminal Records; and 2) Order Denying Request to Expunge and/or Impound Criminal Records. An Order Denying Request to Expunge, Impound, and/or Seal Criminal Records means that the court denied the petitioner's request to have all or part of their criminal records expunged, impounded, and/or sealed. An Order Denying Request to Expunge and/or Impound Criminal Records means that the court denied the petitioner's request to have all or part of their criminal records expunged and/or impounded, but not necessarily sealed.
