The Illinois Database Subscription Agreement is an agreement between a subscribing organization and the State of Illinois. It provides access to a variety of databases, including but not limited to the Illinois State Library, Illinois State Archives, Illinois Government Information Center, and Illinois Secretary of State. The agreement establishes access rights, fees, and other terms and conditions for the use of the databases. It also outlines the rights and responsibilities of both parties. There are two types of Illinois Database Subscription Agreement: the Standard Agreement and the Enterprise Agreement. The Standard Agreement is for organizations with fewer than 500 employees and is free of charge. The Enterprise Agreement is for organizations with more than 500 employees and requires a fee. Both agreements provide access to the same databases, but the Enterprise Agreement offers additional features, such as a dedicated account manager and increased storage capacity.
