Indiana Complaint of Judicial Misconduct or Disability is a complaint issued by a complainant alleging that a judge has violated the law, acted improperly, or is otherwise not qualified to serve as a judge. The complaint is filed with the Indiana Judicial Qualifications Commission (JC), which is responsible for investigating and addressing complaints of judicial misconduct or disability. The Indiana JC can recommend that the Indiana Supreme Court take action against the judge, such as removal from office or suspension. There are three types of Indiana Complaint of Judicial Misconduct or Disability: 1. Unethical Conduct: This type of complaint alleges that a judge has acted in an unethical manner, such as by showing bias or making inappropriate comments. 2. Jurisdictional Error: This type of complaint alleges that a judge has misinterpreted the law or made an incorrect decision. 3. Disability: This type of complaint alleges that a judge is not fit to serve because of physical or mental disability.
