Indiana Credit Counseling — Permanent Waiver, Motion Requesting is a process in which a court grants a waiver to an individual or business to permanently waive the requirement to complete a credit counseling class. This waiver is granted in cases where the individual or business has already completed the credit counseling class, or because the individual or business is facing financial hardship. In order to be granted the waiver, a Motion Requesting the Waiver must be filed with the court. There are two types of Indiana Credit Counseling — Permanent Waiver, Motion Requesting: individual and business. The individual waiver is for those who are filing for bankruptcy or have filed for bankruptcy in the past, and the business waiver is for businesses that have gone into bankruptcy or are facing financial hardship. Both types of waivers require the individual or business to provide the court with evidence of their financial hardship and an explanation of why the waiver is necessary.
