Indiana Certification of Eligibility (ICE) is an official certificate issued by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOL) that confirms a student’s eligibility to receive a state-funded scholarship or grant. ICE certifies that the student meets the criteria of the scholarship or grant program and is qualified to receive the funds. There are three types of Indiana Certification of Eligibility: the Indiana Academic Honors Diploma, the Core 40 Diploma, and the General Diploma. The Indiana Academic Honors Diploma is awarded to students who have met the criteria set forth by the IDOL and have completed an approved honor track curriculum. The Core 40 Diploma is awarded to students who have completed the standard Pre-approved curriculum and met the relevant criteria. The General Diploma is awarded to students who have completed the required To be Pre-approved curriculum and met the necessary criteria.
