Indiana Verification of Creditor List is a document created by a debtor or debtor's attorney in order to meet the requirements of Indiana's bankruptcy laws. It is a legal document used to provide proof of the debts that the debtor has incurred and is responsible for paying back. The list is made up of creditors that the debtor has made payments to, or that have extended new credit to the debtor. The list includes the name of the creditor, the address, mailing address, and phone number of each creditor, the amount of the debt, and the date on which the debt was incurred. The list is used to inform the bankruptcy court of the creditors that the debtor owes money to, and the amount of each debt. There are two types of Indiana Verification of Creditor Lists. The first type is the Secured Creditor List, which includes creditors that have a lien on the debtor's property. The second type is the Unsecured Creditor List, which includes creditors that do not have a lien on the debtor's property. Both lists must be filed with the bankruptcy court in order for the debtor's bankruptcy case to proceed.
