Indiana Civil Rights Complaint (General) is an official complaint form used by individuals in the state of Indiana to file a complaint against an organization, employer, or individual for an alleged violation of civil rights. The complaint can cover a wide range of violations, such as discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or ancestry. The complaint must be filed within 180 days of the alleged violation taking place. There are two types of Indiana Civil Rights Complaint (General): 1) Administrative Complaint and 2) Judicial Complaint. An Administrative Complaint is used to file a complaint with the Indiana Civil Rights Commission (CRC). A Judicial Complaint is used to file a complaint in a state court. Both forms must be completed and filed with the CRC or the appropriate court.
