The Kentucky Report of Application and/or Order Authorizing Interception of Communications (State/County/Local) is a document issued by the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky which permits law enforcement agents to legally intercept private communications in the course of an investigation. This document is necessary for the interception of any voice or telephone communications, as well as any electronic communications, such as emails, text messages, and internet activity. There are two types of Kentucky Report of Application and/or Order Authorizing Interception of Communications (State/County/Local): a state-level document and a county/local-level document. The state-level document is issued by the Attorney General of Kentucky and is used to authorize the interception of communications by state law enforcement. The county/local-level document is issued by the county or local government and is used to authorize the interception of communications by county or local law enforcement.
