Kentucky Authorization and Voucher for Expert and Other Services is a program designed to provide state agencies with access to expert and other services that they may require to facilitate their operations. It provides authorization for either a lump-sum payment or the use of a voucher for payment of professional services and goods. It also provides the ability to purchase goods or services with an authorization and voucher. There are three types of Kentucky Authorization and Voucher for Expert and Other Services: Professional Services, Goods and Services, and Miscellaneous Services. Professional Services are services rendered by a professional or expert, such as health care, legal, accounting, or engineering services. Goods and Services are items or services that are typically not seen as professional services, such as office supplies, technology equipment, or travel expenses. Miscellaneous Services are services that are related to the operation and maintenance of a business, such as janitorial, landscaping, or security services.
