Kentucky Articles of Organization (Nonprofit LLC) refer to the official legal document that is used to register a nonprofit limited liability company (LLC) in the state of Kentucky. This document is used to form an LLC for charitable, educational, religious, or other nonprofit purposes, and it must be filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State. There are two types of Kentucky Articles of Organization (Nonprofit LLC): Form 502F and Form 502 N. Form 502F is used for filing an initial nonprofit LLC, while Form 502 N is used for filing an amendment to an existing nonprofit LLC. Both forms require information such as the LLC’s name, address, purpose, registered agent, and members. Additionally, Form 502F also requires a statement of the LLC’s intent to comply with all applicable state laws related to nonprofit organizations. Once submitted, the Articles of Organization become part of the public record.
