Louisiana Subpoena is a court-ordered document that requires a person or entity to be present in court or to produce documents and other tangible evidence for use at a hearing or trial. Louisiana Subpoena is issued by a court, a governmental agency, or an attorney representing a party in a matter before the court. There are three types of Louisiana Subpoena: Subpoena Ducks Cecum, which requires the recipient to produce documents and other tangible evidence; Subpoena Ad Testificandum, which requires the recipient to appear in court to testify; and Subpoena Ad Diverting, which requires the recipient to appear in court to provide testimony on behalf of a particular party.
