The Massachusetts Notice of Intended Public Sale of Estate Property is a formal document issued by the executor of an estate to announce the intention to sell estate property. This document must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as well as posted in the town or city hall. The notice must include the name of the decedent, the date of death, the date and time of the sale, a description of the property to be sold, the place of sale, the terms of sale, and the name and address of the executor. There are three types of Massachusetts Notice of Intended Public Sale of Estate Property: (1) Personal Property Notice; (2) Real Property Notice; and (3) Notice of Trustee's Sale.
