The Maryland Certificate Re BURP (Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Program) Conference is a voluntary program specifically designed to help resolve bankruptcy disputes between creditors and debtors. The program is available to all creditors, debtors, and trustees involved in a bankruptcy case and allows them to work together to resolve their disputes in an informal setting. The Maryland Certificate Re BURP Conference can be used for creditor/debtor disputes related to a bankruptcy plan, discharge of claims, or any other issue related to the bankruptcy case. There are three types of Maryland Certificate Re BURP Conferences: Pre-filling, Pre-Discharge, and Post-Discharge. The Pre-filling Conference is held before a bankruptcy petition is filed and is designed to help creditors and debtors resolve disputes and possibly avoid filing bankruptcy. The Pre-Discharge Conference is held before the bankruptcy discharge is granted and is used to resolve issues that may prevent the discharge from being granted. The Post-Discharge Conference is held after the bankruptcy discharge is granted and can be used to resolve disputes related to the discharge or any other issue related to the bankruptcy case.
