The Maryland Ground Rent Registration Form is a document used to register ground rent in the state of Maryland. This document must be completed and submitted to the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation in order to register the ground rent with the state. There are two types of Maryland Ground Rent Registration Forms: Form GR-1, which is used to register a new ground rent, and Form GR-2, which is used to re-register an existing ground rent. Both forms require the owner of the ground rent to provide their name and contact information, the ground rent’s address, the name of the ground rent holder, and the ground rent’s date of commencement. Additionally, Form GR-1 requires the owner to provide the name of the ground rent’s creator, the date of the ground rent’s creation, and the ground rent’s termination date, while Form GR-2 requires the owner to provide the date of the ground rent’s last registration.
