Maine Articles-Certificate of Conversion (Between LPs And LCS) is a document that is used in the state of Maine to convert a limited partnership (LP) into a limited liability company (LLC). This document must be filed with the Maine Secretary of State and must include the name of the LP, the name of the LLC, the date of the conversion, the address of the LLC, the name and address of the registered agent, the purpose of the LLC, the name of the managers or members of the LLC, the name and address of any managers or members of the LP, and the signature of the LP’s managing partner. There are two types of Maine Articles-Certificate of Conversion (Between LPs And LCS): the Certificate of Conversion and the Articles of Conversion. The Certificate of Conversion is used to convert an LP into an LLC with the same name and purpose. The Articles of Conversion are used to convert an LP into an LLC with a different name and purpose.
