The Michigan Certificate of Abandonment of Amendment for Use by Domestic Corps (also known as Form 690) is a form used by domestic corporations in the state of Michigan to abandon certain amendments to their articles of incorporation. This form is filed with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) in order to make amendments to a corporation’s articles of incorporation official. It is also used to inform the state of any changes that may have been made to the corporation’s articles of incorporation. The form includes information about the corporation such as its name, its address, and the date on which the amendment was made. The form also requires the signature of an authorized representative of the corporation. There are two types of Michigan Certificate of Abandonment of Amendment for Use by Domestic Corps: Form 690-A and Form 690-B. Form 690-A is used when the amendment to the articles of incorporation is for a change in the corporation’s name, address, or other information. Form 690-B is used to abandon any other amendment.
