A Michigan Certificate of Amendment To The Articles Organization is a document filed with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) that is used to make changes to the Articles of Organization of an existing Michigan limited liability company (LLC). The Certificate of Amendment can be used to make changes to the LLC's name, registered agent, address, or management structure, and to make other changes to the LLC's Articles of Organization. There are two types of Michigan Certificate of Amendment To The Articles Organization: Form L-17 and Form L-25. Form L-17 is used to amend or restate the Articles of Organization and must be signed by all members or managers of the LLC. Form L-25 is used to make minor changes to the Articles of Organization, such as changes to the LLC's name or address, and does not require the signature of all members or managers.
