Michigan Temporary Military Spouse License Application is a process provided by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) which allows spouses of active-duty military members to obtain a temporary license to practice a profession in the state. The license is valid for up to three years and is available to military spouses who are licensed in another state and plan to practice in Michigan. The three types of Michigan Temporary Military Spouse License Applications are: Professional License, Business License, and Driver's License. Each of these applications have their own specific requirements and must be completed in order to be approved. The Professional License application requires individuals to submit proof of their licensure in another state, a signed affidavit, and a completed application. The Business License application requires individuals to submit proof of their business formation, a signed affidavit, and a completed application. Lastly, the Driver's License application requires individuals to submit proof of their driver's license in another state, a signed affidavit, and a completed application.
