The Michigan Business and Industrial Development Corporation (MB IDC) is a non-profit organization that provides financing and assistance to Michigan businesses and industries. MB IDC has three divisions: the Michigan Small Business Development Center (MISSED), the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF). The MISSED provides Michigan entrepreneurs and small business owners with counseling services, access to capital, and other resources to help them succeed. The MEDC assists Michigan businesses in the areas of job creation, business expansion, and community development. The MSF administers state and federal programs for industrial development, business development, and community development. MB IDC also provides loan programs, grants, and incentives to help Michigan businesses and industries grow and succeed. These programs include the Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA) program, the Michigan Business Development Program (MDP), and the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF). Additionally, MB IDC offers tax credits and other financial incentives to businesses that create jobs and invest in Michigan communities. MB IDC also provides funding to support research and development activities, and to fund infrastructure projects.
