Minnesota Docket A Child Support Judgment is an official court order that requires a non-custodial parent to make regular payments to the custodial parent for the support of their child/children. The purpose of this document is to ensure that the child's needs are met and that both parents are held responsible for their financial obligations to their child/children. The payment amount is determined by Minnesota Statutes and is based on the non-custodial parent's income and other factors. There are two types of Minnesota Docket A Child Support Judgments: Docket A Child Support Judgment with an Order of Assignment, which assigns a portion of the non-custodial parent's income to the custodial parent for payment; and Docket A Child Support Judgment without an Order of Assignment, which requires the non-custodial parent to make payments directly to the custodial parent.
