Minnesota Annual Renewal (Domestic Corporation) is the process of filing a yearly report with the Minnesota Secretary of State's office in order to maintain a corporation's continued existence in the state. The report must be filed by the corporation’s anniversary date every year, and it must include the payment of the required filing fee. There are two types of Minnesota Annual Renewal: Standard and Short Form. The Standard form requires more detailed information about the corporation such as its name, address, and registered agent, as well as updates to the corporate officers and directors. The Short Form requires only the name, address, and registered agent of the corporation, along with the payment of the filing fee. Both forms must be filed on an annual basis in order to maintain the corporation’s status in the state of Minnesota.
