Minnesota Annual Renewal (LLP) is a process required by the Minnesota Secretary of State for Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP) to maintain their status in the state. The LLP must file an Annual Renewal Form within two months before the anniversary of their registration date. This renewal must include: 1) the name of the LLP; 2) the registered office address; 3) the names of partners; 4) the date of registration; 5) the annual fee; and 6) a statement that the LLP has not undergone any changes since the last annual renewal. There are two types of Minnesota Annual Renewal (LLP): 1) Domestic LLP and 2) Foreign LLP. Domestic LLP is for businesses that are formed and registered in Minnesota, while Foreign LLP is for businesses formed in other states but registered to do business in Minnesota. Both types of renewal must be filed and the annual fee paid in order to keep the LLP in good standing with the Minnesota Secretary of State.
