The Minnesota Affidavit In Support of Responsive Motion To Modify Child Support and or Spousal Maintenance is a document used by a party in a divorce case to request a modification of the existing child support or spousal maintenance order. The affidavit must be signed and notarized by the requesting party and includes information such as the party's name, address, and any other relevant information. The affidavit must also include a detailed explanation of the reasons why the party is seeking a modification of the existing order, such as a change in income, a change in the number of children in the household, or any other special circumstances. There are two types of Minnesota Affidavit In Support of Responsive Motion To Modify Child Support and or Spousal Maintenance: a Petitioner's Affidavit and a Respondent's Affidavit.
