Minnesota Rehabilitation Request is a process through which individuals with disabilities can apply for services and supports to help them live more independent and successful lives. This process is facilitated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). There are two types of Minnesota Rehabilitation Requests: the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Presets) and the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services (CRS). Presets are supports and services that help individuals with disabilities prepare for employment, such as vocational exploration, job search assistance, job coaching, and resume writing. CRS are services that help individuals with disabilities find and maintain employment, such as job development, job coaching, and job placement. Both Presets and CRS are designed to help individuals with disabilities increase their independence, increase their employability, and increase their self-sufficiency.
