Description

Transcript of Judgment

A Missouri Transcript of Judgment is a court document that serves as a record of a judgment entered a court of law in the state of Missouri. This document is the official record of the judgment entered by the court, and is typically drafted by the court clerk. It includes the names of the parties involved in the case, the date of the judgment, as well as the amount of money that was awarded or the other terms that were ordered by the court. There are two types of Missouri Transcript of Judgment: a domestic judgment, which is a judgment issued in a family law case, such as a divorce or child support case; and a foreign judgment, which is a judgment issued in a court outside the state of Missouri. The document is then filed with the Missouri Secretary of State’s office, and is used as a lien against the property or assets of the person against whom the judgment was awarded.
