The Missouri Mesothelioma Liability Election of Self-Insured Employer or Group Trust Member Pursuant to 287.200.4(3), RSM is a process by which employers in the state of Missouri can elect to insure themselves and/or become members of a group trust for liability coverage in the event of a claim for damages due to mesothelioma. This election must be filed with the State of Missouri within a certain period of time, and must include proof of financial responsibility, such as a bond or letter of credit. There are two types of Missouri Mesothelioma Liability Election of Self-Insured Employer or Group Trust Member Pursuant to 287.200.4(3), RSM: Self-Insured Employer and Group Trust Member.
