The Missouri Safety and Health Consultation Service (MS HCS) is a program of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Worker's Compensation. The MS HCS provides free, on-site safety and health consultation services to employers and employees in Missouri. MS HCS services include hazard recognition, control strategies, ergonomics, safety and health program development, and accident prevention and investigation. MS HCS also provides technical assistance, training, and resources to employers in order to promote safety and health in the workplace. MS HCS offers two distinct types of services: the On-Site Consultation Program and the Voluntary Protection Program. The On-Site Consultation Program provides employers with safety and health consultation services at their worksites, while the Voluntary Protection Program is a cooperative relationship between employers and MS HCS personnel that focuses on promoting workplace safety and health through recognition, education, and training.
